Job Description for BDM

Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
Analyze competitive landscape and identify the company’s unique value propositions.
Stay updated on industry trends, design preferences, and technological advancements within the interior contracting space.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking events, online platforms, referrals, and cold outreach.
Qualify leads based on their project requirements, budgets, timelines, and alignment with the company’s capabilities.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
Understand client needs, objectives, and preferences to tailor solutions that align with their vision and goals.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
Collaborate with the design and estimating teams to develop compelling and accurate project proposals.
Create engaging presentations that highlight the company’s expertise, previous work, and proposed solutions.
Articulate value propositions and negotiate terms to secure new projects.
Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Forecast revenue projections and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the interior contracting or construction industry.
Understanding of interior design concepts, architectural elements, and construction processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Negotiation skills to navigate contract terms and pricing discussions.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and within a team.
